How to get rid of white flakes in the water of my Intex Water System?
    • L
      Lisa FigueroaAug 26, 2025
White flakes in the water are usually caused by excessive calcium hardness in the pool water. To resolve this, drain about 20 to 25% of the pool water and add fresh water to decrease the calcium hardness. Also, inspect the electrolytic cell for scale buildup and clean it if necessary.

      Melissa MendozaNov 9, 2025
If the LED panel code is flashing and the alarm is on, there could be several reasons: * Ensure the filter pump is attached and operating. * If your unit has plunger valves, ensure that they are open and clear your filter cartridge and cell from debris and dirt. Release all trapped air in the circulation line. * Check the direction of the inlet and outlet hose, and reverse them if necessary. * Clean the flow sensor, paying special attention to the hinge. * Plug the flow sensor firmly into the flow sensor receptacle. * Reset both timers on the filter pump and saltwater system. * Remove the electrolytic cell for inspection and clean it if necessary. * Add salt, if the salt level is low or there is no salt. * Ensure that the cell cord is plugged firmly into the cell housing...

Why is there insufficient sodium hypochlorite in my Intex ECO6110 Water System?
    • M
      Melissa HarrisNov 17, 2025
There are several possible reasons for insufficient sodium hypochlorite: * The Saltwater System may not be operating for enough hours daily. Increase the daily operating time. * The salt level in the pool water may be less than 2000ppm. Check the salt level with the Test Kit and adjust as needed. * Sodium hypochlorite loss may be due to intense sunlight exposure. Use a pool cover when the pool is not in use or when the unit is operating. * The bather load may have increased. Increase the daily Saltwater System operating time. * The electrolytic cell may be clogged or dirty. Remove the cell for inspection and clean it if necessary. * There may be high UV level exposure. Cover the pool with a pool cover for 2 days with the device running and then test the water using the test st...
