Why is there insufficient chlorine in my Intex Water System?
    • M
      Mary CamposAug 19, 2025
To address insufficient chlorine in your Intex Water System, consider increasing the daily operating time. Check the salt level with a test kit and adjust as needed to maintain at least 2000ppm. Use a pool cover to minimize chlorine loss from sunlight. If the bather load has increased, increase the daily operating time. Inspect and clean the electrolytic cell if it's clogged or dirty.

Why doesn't my Intex Saltwater System CS8111 filter clean the pool?
    • T
      Tracy PinedaAug 21, 2025
If the Intex Water System filter doesn't clean the pool effectively, try the following: * Adjust the sanitizer and pH levels, consulting your local pool supply store for guidance. * Clean or replace the filter cartridge if it's dirty or damaged. * If the pool is excessively dirty, operate the filter for longer periods. * Ensure the strainer screen at the inlet is clean to avoid restricting water flow.

How to troubleshoot a filter motor that fails to start in Intex Water System?
    • C
      craigkimberlyAug 23, 2025
If your Intex Water System filter motor fails to start, ensure the filter cord is plugged into a 3-wire outlet protected by a Class A Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter, or RCD. Also, check if the GFCI circuit breaker has tripped and reset it. If it repeatedly trips, there may be an electrical system defect requiring an electrician's attention. Finally, if the motor is too hot, allow it to cool down.

    • J
      jameshortonAug 26, 2025
If your Intex Water System pump isn't working, make sure the pool water level is correct and clean the strainer screens at the pool inlet. Tighten hose nuts and inspect hoses for damage to prevent air leaks. Clear any obstructions in the intake hose and ensure there's no air lock inside the cartridge and motor chamber. Turn and pull valve handle to full upright position. Unscrew two air release valve on the chamber to fullfill water.

    • H
      hilldavidAug 28, 2025
If the Intex Water System filter doesn't pump water or the flow is very slow, clear any obstructions in the intake hose, tighten hose nuts, and check hoses for damage to prevent air leaks. Replace the cartridge if there's scale or buildup. Clean the cartridge more often if the pool is excessively dirty, and clean inside the plunger valve if the filter cartridge is dirty. Pull valve handle to full upright position.
