  If your Intex Heat Pump is running but the water isn't heating, there could be several reasons. Ensure adequate air circulation around the unit. If newly installed, allow 24-48 hours to reach the set temperature, using a solar pool cover to help. For significantly cooled pool water, allow 24-36 hours with a solar cover. Ensure the ambient temperature isn't too low and that the set temperature isn't too low either. Clean the evaporator fins if they're dirty. Check the circulation line and filter for decreased water flow. If the problem persists, a technician may need to check the refrigerant gas pressure or the compressor.
