Motor
An AC-powered, 48 volt, brushless motor made by Schabmuller powers
your Intimidator EV. The IP45 motor is water resistant, not waterproof.
If the motor should overheat, the digital display on the right of the
speedometer will display “motor hot.” Stop the vehicle and allow time for
the motor to cool down before continuing.
Controller
NOTICE: The 650amp Curtis controller is water resistant, not waterproof.
Avoid spaying the controller with high-pressure water. Do not submerge the
controller.
The controller, or computer, is the brain of the vehicle. The vehicle rate of
acceleration and deceleration can be adjusted by some authorized dealers.
If a fault occurs, the controller will display error codes on the small digital
display, right of the speedometer.
The control has two status lights on the casing. Below is a troubleshooting
chart, explaining the lights.
