14.3 Securing the wheelchair for transport without passengers
CAUTION: Injury hazard!
• If you are unable to fasten your electric wheelchair securely in a transport vehicle, Invacare
®
recommends that you do not transport it!
• Before transporting your wheelchair, make sure the motors are engaged and that the Joystick
Box is switched off.
Invacare

strongly recommends that you additionally disconnect or remove the batteries. See
"Removing/Installing the batteries" on page 84.
• Invacare
®
strongly recommends securing the wheelchair to the floor of the transporting vehicle.
