  If the actuator fails to lift when the button is pressed, there are several possible causes. First, ensure the RED emergency stop button is not pressed IN; if it is, rotate it CLOCKWISE until it pops out. Check if the hand control or actuator connector is loose. Also, the battery may be low, so charge the batteries. Another potential issue is that the battery might not be connected properly to the control box, so reconnect it. It is also possible that connecting terminals are damaged, or the actuator is worn or damaged, or the spindle is bent.
