1. Close the main gas supply valve before disconnecting the stove to replace
and leave it closed until the connection of the new stove.
2. Install a manual shut-off valve, to the main gas line at a place of easy access,
outside the stove. Make sure that everyone who is going to use the stove
know how to operate this valve and close it if necessary.
3. Install a 1/2 "male taper union adapter to the internal thread of 1/2 "NPT at
the regulator inlet. Use an adjustable wrench to hold the regulator, thus
avoiding damage.
4. Install a 1/2 ”male taper union adapter to the internal thread of the valve,
taking care to prevent the stop valve from turning.
5. Connect the flexible tubing connector to the adapter on the range, locate
the stove in its final position and connect the other end to the adapter in
the valve.
6. When you are finished making connections, check that all knobs on the
stove control panel, are in the off position and then open the main gas
supply valve.
7. Use soap and water at all joints and connections to verify that no there is
any leak.
DO NOT USE PLASTIC TUBE FOR GAS CONNECTION SINCE THEY MAY
PRESENT LEAKS, EVEN THOSE WITH STEEL MESH IN ITS SURFACE.
WARNING
Make sure your home has a gas pressure regulator that supply the correct
pressure.

FACTORY WAS ADJUSTED TO WORK WITH NATURAL GAS AND IS DESIG-
NED TO OPERATE AT A PRESSURE OF 1.76 kPa (7 in C.A.) AT IF YOUR
INSTALLATION IS FOR GAS L.P., YOU MUST HAVE A PRESSURE OF 2.76
kPa (11 in C.A.).
