IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONS
Before you start using the purier, please read the following important precautions and look at the
drawings of the main unit parts.
• When you take the unit from cold environment, let it stand unpacked at room temperature for sucient period of time
(approx. 5 hours). Otherwise water vapours can condense on cool parts and after the unit is switched on, short-circuit
may cause the unit damage, destruction, and even re.
• If the unit does not work as it should, if it was damaged mechanically or due to a fall, if it was left outdoors, or came into
contact with water (except washing the stainless parts of the lter), do not switch the unit on and contact the service
centre (see section Contacts).
• The unit belongs to the group of appliance with a Y-type connection. If the supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, his service centre (see section Contacts), or a similarly qualied person to prevent occurrence of dangerous situation.
• Do not place the unit near open re and replaces, even those that are not actually in use. Dust from the chimney and
soot can circulate through the purier and can settle both in the unit and the room. The unit placement near lighted
candles, paran lamp etc. is not recommended. If you intend using candles and paran lamps near the unit despite of
this warning, ensure that the wick length does not exceed 6 mm to reduce the smoke production.
Figure A shows the stainless lter which is a key part of the air purier and ioniser. If the unit is run-
ning, the stainless lter catches dust, pollutants, allergens and irritants, and neutralizes smells. The air
purier is designed to make no noise and requires very little time and eort for maintenance. If you
hear any noise or sounds coming from the unit, it is a general sign that the unit needs cleaning. Switch
the unit o, unplug it from the socket and follow the section Cleaning and Maintenance. If the unit still
makes noise after the stainless lter is cleaned, dried thoroughly and reinserted, switch the unit o and
unplug it from the socket. Pull the mechanism for the ionizing wires cleaning out of and into the unit
3-4 times (Figure B). This movement helps to remove impurities from the inner ionizing wires. To keep
the purier in a properly functioning condition, the stainless lter and ionizing wires must be cleaned
every 4-7 days of the unit use at least (for the procedure see in section Cleaning and Maintenance).
WARNING!!!
After the stainless lter is cleaned by a common detergent (abrasives-free) and water, let it dry
thoroughly in vertical position for 24 hours before you reinsert it in the unit. Water may remain
at many places (e.g. on the stainless lter bends) and could cause the unit damage. If the stain-
less lter is damp, do not insert it in the unit. The purier must be cleaned more frequently if it
is exposed to strong pollution.
