Why won't the brushes turn on my IPC CT40 Scrubber?

Ensure the brush switch is in the "1" position, and that you've pressed both the brush switch and the brush lever. If the motor has overheated, release the brush lever, turn the brush switch to the "0" position (off), and allow the machine to cool down for at least 45 minutes. Also, check that all power supply and motor connectors are securely connected. If a fuse has blown, it should be checked and replaced after eliminating the cause. Lastly, make sure the batteries are charged. If all else fails, the reduction unit or motor may be faulty and require replacement.
