Ensure user account has full control over scanmarker.license file for proper activation.
Reinstall software if the scanmarker.license file is missing or referenced incorrectly.
Temporarily disable security software to allow communication with the Activation Server.
Check scanner connection and driver if no output appears in the top pane.
Use the 'Validate activation' utility if the middle pane remains blank during testing.
Reinstall the pen software if the bottom pane shows no output during testing.
Check Device Manager for the Pen Scanner driver and ensure it's properly installed.
Uninstall the Pen Scanner driver from Device Manager and reinstall.
When prompted, choose not to delete the driver file during uninstallation.
