Term Description
Adjustment Bar An interactive sliding scale that allows users to
adjust various headset settings.
AMD
(Age-related macular
degeneration)
An eye disease caused by deterioration of the
central portion of the retina.
Glaucoma An eye disease that damages the eye’s optic
nerve.
IPD Distance between the two images displayed in
the headset.
Live Views 1.2 Live views include: Bubble, Bioptic, OCR,
Outline, Reading, RP, Scene, and Television.
Menu A menu offers a limited set of features that are
available within each view.
RP Retinitis Pigmentosa
Stargardt A macular degeneration eye disorder that
affects the retina.
