ension Adjustment
Adjust fan belt tension when belt slackness is greater than the
specified amount and when the belts are replaced.

CAUTION: To help avoid being injury, check and adjust fan belt
tension with engine stopped.
Belt tension
Belt tension is normal when it is depressed 7.5 to 8.5 mm with
the thumb at the midway between the fan pulley and alternator
pulley. (about 100 N (22 lb) depressing force.)
Fan belt slackness : 7.5 - 8.5 mm (0.30 to 0.33 in)
