ThediodeTestisasfollows:
1.  Setthe(     )positionbyturningtherotaryswitch.
1.  InserttheblackandredtestleadsintotheCOM and VΩ
Hz input terminals respectively.
2.  Theredleadshouldbeconnectedtotheanodeandtheblackleadtothecathodeofthediode. 
3.  Thetypicalvoltagedropshouldbeabout0.6Vforsilicondiodeor0.3Vforgermaniumdiode. 
4.  Ifthediodeisreversebiasedorthereisanopencircuitthereadingdisplayedwillbebetween3.000V
and3.400V.
