4 Modify your linked Receipt Printer and/or POS Printer device so that the Drwr 1 Open field (on the
More CTL Codes screen) contains the following:
27,112,48,64,64.
Note: If you plan to print credit card authorization receipts to the iTherm and you want your main POS
receipts to have a logo on them but do not want the logo on the credit card authorization receipt, clone
the above device and simply delete the Print Init line (27,31,144,86,38,20,2). Assign this new device
as your Auth Printer on your MSR/Credit Card device.
Install LOGO to Printer
Note: VSI strongly recommends that any old versions of this software be uninstalled before this
version if installed. The POSjet Color Image Converter III utility will run on Windows 9x, ME, and 2000;
it will NOT run on NT 4.0.
1 Run the Color Converter executable—100-02379v4_5_0.exe—that was previously downloaded. This
will create a new program group called POSjet. The application PJColor is in this group.
2 Run the PJColor application.
3 In the Settings menu, go to Select Printer and set the printer to correspond to your printer iTherm 280
or Ithaca 610.
4 In the Settings menu, go to Select Emulation and set the emulation to ESC/POS Emulation.
5 In the Settings menu, go to Set Communication Port. Change the port to the appropriate port.
6 In the Settings menu, go to Printer Method and select Direct to Port.
7 Load the image to PJColor by clicking Load Image.
8 If you have colored (red, green, blue) 40 column paper, change the colors of the logo (if desired).
9 Click Print to test if the image prints correctly.
10 Click Store in Printer. This will open up a POSjet Macro window and query the printer. The status of
the printer will display.
11 Change macro name from Demo to v (must be a lower case v) and click Record. This will save the
image to the printer’s internal memory.
Mandatory Printer Device Configuration for Logos
To print logos, ensure the following populates the Print Init field of the Ithaca Printer device you are using:
