Ignitionswitch
Afterinsertingthekeyintothe
ignitionswitch,youcanturnthekey
tofourdifferentpositions.

Donotstoptheengineorpull
thekeyoutwhiledriving.
Pullingthekeyoutwilllockthe
steeringwheel.

Ignitionswitchpositionandfunc

Ignitionswitchisarrangedonthe
rightofsteeringcolumnbelow
steeringwheelandisconfigured
withfourstagesasspecifiedbelow.
LOCK
Ignitionkeycanbeunpluggedonlyin
thisposition.Duringparkingand
locking,pressthekeyinverselyand
turnit.Afterthekeyisremoved
from"LOCK",steeringwheelis
lockedtopreventcarbeingstolen.
ACC
Sinceignitionkeyisturnedto"ACC",
stereosystem,cigaretteigniterand
carDCpowersourceareavailable.
However,itisnotproposedtouse
thoseelectricalaccessoriesbefore
engineisstartedtopreventbattery
powershortage.
ON
Whenignitionkeyisturnedto"ON",
correspondingindicatoroninstrum
-entpanelwillbeenabledforcheck.
Atthesametime,allcarfacilities
andaccessoriesarestandby.Ignition
keyiskeptinthispositionduring
running.
Ifengineisnotstarted,pleasedon't
keepignitionkey"ON"forlongbecau
-sethiswillcauseself-discharge,
possiblydamageignitionsystemand
resultinbatterypowershortage.

Thispositiononlyservesforengine
ignition.Engineisstartedwhen
ignitionkeyisturnedto"START".
