Whereallthefourwheels
contactthegroundwhile
towing,thevehiclemustbe
towedfromthefront.Ensure
themanualtransmissionvehicle
hasengagedtheneutralgear,or
theAMTvehicletransmission
hasbeenshiftedto"N"gear.The
towingdistanceshouldbe
within25km(15miles)andthe
vehiclespeedshouldnotexceed
50km/h(30mph).
Makesuretoturntheignition
switchtoACCpositionandkeep
thesteeringwheelreleased.
Thedrivermustcontrolthe
steeringwheelandbrakegearin
thevehicletobetowed.
Whenthevehicleistrappedintosnow,sloughorotherunstablesurface,please
escapethevehiclefromsuchsituationaccordingtothefollowingprocedures.
1.Turnthesteeringwheelleftwardtotheendandthenturnitrightwardtothe
end.Inthisway,apieceofemptylandcanpresentaroundthefrontwheels.
2.Engagethereversegearanddrivegearrepeatedly.
3.Reducewheelspinasmuchaspossible.
4.Releasethethrottlepedalupongearshifting.
5.Stepthethrottlepedalslightlyaftergearengagement.
Ifthevehiclecannotescapefromthedifficultsituationafterseveraltimesof
attempt,itshouldbetowed.RefertoTowthevehicleaboveinthissection.
Tips
Incaseyourvehicleistrappedintosnow,sloughandsandsoil,youmighthave
todriveitaway.First,checkwhetherthereareobstaclesorpeoplearoundthe
vehicle,asthevehiclemaysuddenlyadvanceorreverseanddamagetheobjects
duringoperation.
