“WATER REFRESH REMINDER”
This mess age will appear when the “Water Refresh” timer has
expired.
I The water needs to be drained and refilled with fresh water.
“EXTENDED TEMPERATURE ACTIVATED”
The spa is set to go up to 40°C (10 4°F), but it can be set to
reach 41°C (10 6°F). To access the extended temperature you
need press and hold your finger over the temperature reading
for about 5 seconds. The temperature reading will start to blink
to indicate the system is ready. Tap (
) to raise the tem-
perature up to 41°C (10 6°F).
Note: The heater icon ( ) will be blinking to indicate that
the feature is active.
Troubleshooting Procedures
In the unlikely event y our spa is not working the way y ou believe
it should, please first review all the installation and operating
instructions in this manual and check the message on the panel
display; second, if y ou are still not satisfied it is working prop-
erly, please follow the appropriate troubleshooting instructions.
NONE OF THE COMP ONENTS OPERATE
(i.e. pump, light)
Check the control panel lights.
I If there are letters or symbols displayed on the screen, refer to the
previous section (Error/Display Messages) to determine meaning and
action required.
I If nothing appears on the display:
- Check the household circuit breaker.
- Contact dealer or authorized service center.
PU M P D OE S NOT OPE RATE
Activate the “JETS”
I If no sound is detected or if a buzzing sound is detected, turn
off power to the spa and contact your dealer or authorized serv-
ice center.
I If motor operates but no water flows to jets:
- Pump may not be properly primed. See instructions below.
- Contact dealer or authorized service center.
Pump priming instructions:
TU R N S PA OFF
- Turn off the power to the spa.
- Remove the handle from the massage selector supplied by
the pump you are priming.
- Loosen the massage selector’s cap slightly (counterclockwise),
listening for the air to seep out.
- Tighten the cap finger-tight, replace the handle and turn the
hot tub’s power back on.
Note: This method must be used for the jet’s pumps because
these pumps are not connected to the main filter system in any
way.
CAUTION: If freezing conditions exist and pump is not oper-
ational, take measures to protect the system from possible
damage from freezing. S ee “Winterizing”.
POOR J ET ACTION.
- Make certain the jets pump is turned on.
- Check position of massage selectors.
- Open air control for selected jet system.
- Check for adequate water level.
- Check for dirty filter
WATER IS TOO HOT.
- Reduce thermostat setting.
- Switch hot tub to “Econo” mode to turn heater on only during
pre-programmed time.
- Make sure the pumps are turned off and not constantly run-
ning.
NO H EAT
- Check thermostat setting.
- Keep the cover in place while heating.
- If heater indicator is displayed, but no temperature increase is
experienced after a reasonable period of time, contact your
dealer or authorized service center.
FI LTE R /CIRCULATI ON PUMP OFF
- Verify filter/circulation pump is programmed to run 8 hours a
day.
- Make sure there are no errors preventing the pump from turn-
ing on.
- Hot tub water is warmer than 95°F (34°C) and two degrees
warmer than the set temperature. The “Summer Logic” safety
feature has activated.

new filter.
