Do you have a question about the J&R Technology JREX106 and is the answer not in the manual?

Overview

The JREX106 series telephones are designed for safe, reliable communication in hazardous areas, offering robust construction and a range of features suitable for critical mission communications and high safety applications. The housing is made of impact and shock-resistant GRP (Glass fibre-reinforced polyester), which is also resistant to acids, alkali, and lubricants.

Function Description:

The JREX106 series telephones provide basic telephone functions and can be connected to any standard two-wire telephone line, including analogue PABX lines and PSTN. They are available in two main versions: FK (full keypad) and CB (hotline). The CB version is not equipped with a keypad, limiting access to some features. These telephones are designed for operation in various hazardous industrial environments, including petrochemical, oil exploration, oil & gas plants, coal, military, chemical, power generation facilities, wastewater treatment facilities, and grain storage sites.

The explosion-proof phone / CB (auto dial) connects to the PABX upon lifting the handset. It can also receive calls due to its built-in ringing circuit. Auto-dial numbers can be pre-programmed via the built-in keypad or through phone calls. Interfaces are available for optional accessories such as a second earpiece, secondary ringer, and external loudspeaker. The "external loudspeaker" operating mode is set by bridging terminals, which also outputs the ringer sound via the external loudspeaker, reducing the volume of the internal ringer.
