Hoops
Details are provided here of the embroidery file types, and
vector and bitmap formats supported by JANOME
Embroidery Software as well as supported hoop types.
Supported embroidery file formats
There are two types of embroidery file formats:
Outline files: Outline or ‘condensed’ files
usually contain digitized shapes and lines,
selected stitch types and stitch values and
effects.
Stitch files: Stitch files contain only stitches
and machine functions and are suited to specific
embroidery machines.
