  If you're not getting any sound from your JBL soundbase, here are a few things to check: * Ensure the soundbase is powered ON (the power indicator should be white). * Verify the cable connecting your TV to the soundbase is securely connected at both ends. * Confirm the soundbase’s Source Selector is set to the correct source, and that the source is actually playing audio. * Make sure the system isn't muted. If it is, press the volume buttons to un-mute it. * Check that the soundbase volume isn't turned all the way down, as the lowest setting can mute the system.

  This volume reset is a built-in feature. If the soundbase was playing at more than 50 percent of its maximum volume before being turned off, it will automatically reset to 50 percent of the maximum volume when turned back on.
