Long Term Storage
Preventing Seizing
When storing machine for longer than a period of 8 weeks, the following procedure should be followed:
> Remove and Replace engine oil. Remove Spark plug and pour 15ml of fresh engine oil through the sparkplug
hole.
> Pull the starter grip several times to distribute the oil around the cylinder walls.
> Reinstall the Sparkplug. Pull the starter cord until resistance is felt. This ensures the valves are closed
preventing moisture build up.
> Return the recoil grip gently.
