Checking Brake Circuit Pressure
The built in brakes in the motors are released by hydraulic
pressure. If the pressure is insufficient the brakes will not
release. To check the brake circuit pressure, proceed as
follows:
!!
WARNING
The following procedure requires the machine to be
disabled (wheels raised off the ground, work function
disconnected etc.) while the work is carried out.
HYD 8-1/1
1 Raise and block the machine so that the wheels are clear
of the ground. Stop the engine. Ensure the machine is
stable.
2 Remove the seat and floorplate to access the pressure
test point A.
Note: Illustration X shows motors up to machine no. 677999.
Illustration Y shows motors from machine no. 678000.
