Seat
Removal
It may be necessary to remove the operator's seat to gain
access to the hydraulic pumps, motors, valves and pipework.
1 Tilt the hydraulic controls safety restraint bar forwards.
2 Tilt the seat 1 forwards. (The hinged floor plate 2 will lift
with the seat.)
3 When the seat is as far forwards as possible, lift the seat
and floor plate clear.
4 The seat can be separated from the floor plate by
removing the two 1/4-turn fasteners and sliding the seat
out of its runners and away from the hinges 3 on the
floor plate.
Replacement
Replacement is a reversal of the removal procedure.
Floor Plate
To carry out major work on the hydraulics such as a motor
removal, it may be necessary to remove the fixed front floor
plate as well as the hinged section.
Removal and Replacement
Remove the 2 bolts A at the top of the plate, followed by the
2 bolts B securing the plate to the floor. The plate can then
be lifted clear.
Replacement is a reversal of the removal procedure.
