USB device connector Future connector
Audio Jack The audio jack provides a way
to coordinate the testing with
the talk-set feature. Two
headsets are included as a part
of the kit. The voice
communication feature between
the local and the remote units is
automatically activated when
you plug in the headsets.
USB Host Connector Used to export saved test
results and to perform firmware
upgrades. Certifier40G allows
an easy way to export the test
results into a USB flash drive
without having to carry the
device around to connect to a
PC.
RJ-45 Connector Future
Power Supply Jack Supply power and recharge the
battery. Note: Only use the
power adapter shipped with
your Certifier40G.
Quick access buttons A quick way to access most
common functions of the
Certifier40G. E.g. Perform
Autotest with one click .
Brightness Control Adjust the brightness of the
LCD display to suit the ambient
light
Navigation scroll buttons Scroll up/down through lists
Context sensitive help Help menu relevant to the
functionality on the current
screen on the LCD display
Probe interface connector Connect different probes such
as CAT6A Channel, or CAT6A
