  The "Er2" error on your JENCO Measuring Instruments indicates an issue during the slope calibration. This may occur if: 1. The electrode and ATC/Temp probe did not stabilize within 30% of the buffer value before "Slope" was pressed. To fix this, allow more stabilization time before pressing "Slope". 2. The buffer solutions (4.00, 4.01, 9.18, or 10.01) are incorrect. Verify you are using the correct buffer solutions. 3. The pH electrode slope is off by more than 30% of the ideal slope. In this case, replace the buffer and/or the pH electrode and recalibrate the meter by pressing the “Clear” key.
