If your Jet Saw doesn't start, first, ensure it's properly connected to a power source and that the START button is fully engaged, while the STOP button is disengaged. Check for any damage to the cord and replace it if necessary. If the overload automatic reset has tripped, allow the unit to cool down completely before attempting to restart. If the issue persists, verify the amp setting on the motor starter. Also, verify that the saw is on a correctly sized circuit. If the circuit size is correct, there is probably a loose electrical lead. If you have access to a voltmeter, you can separate a starter failure from a motor failure by first, verifying incoming voltage at 220+/-10% and second, checking the voltage between starter and motor at 220+/-10%.
