Bilge Mate - Submersible Bilge Pump, 12 V
Installation
1. Select the lowest point in your bilge.
Fasten the pump with
screws where convenient.
You may use a single
screw on an upright
member and simply
slide the screw into the
pump bracket slot.
2. Connect the brown wire to the posi-
tive (+) lead and switch and connect
the black wire to the negative (-)
lead. We suggest a 2 A fuse.
3. Make sure the pump oulet is level
or pointed slightly upward. The dis-
charge hose must have no loops or
sags which could cause an airlock.
Fasten the hose to the pump outlet
andtothethruhullconnector,culling
off any excess hose that might sag.
Forlongerpumplife,wireonlyas
directed and do not run dry. Turn the
switch off immediately after the bilge is
pumped.
