  If your Jonsered Lawn Mower is hard to start, consider these possible causes: a dirty air filter (clean or replace it), a bad spark plug (replace it), a weak or dead battery (recharge or replace it), a dirty fuel filter (replace it), stale or dirty fuel (empty the fuel tank and refill it with fresh, clean gasoline), loose or damaged wiring (check all wiring), a carburetor out of adjustment (refer to “To Adjust Carburetor” in the Service Adjustments section), or engine valves out of adjustment (contact an authorized service center/department).

  If the engine of your Jonsered Lawn Mower won't turn over, make sure the clutch/brake pedal is depressed. Also, ensure the attachment clutch is disengaged. Other potential issues include a weak or dead battery (recharge or replace it), a blown fuse (replace it), corroded battery terminals (clean them), loose or damaged wiring (check all wiring), a faulty ignition switch (check or replace it), a faulty solenoid or starter (check or replace them), or faulty operator presence switch(es) (contact an authorized service center/department).

  A poor or uneven cut with your Jonsered Lawn Mower can be due to several reasons. The blade might be worn, bent, or loose, so replace the blade and tighten the blade bolt. The mower deck might not be level, so level the mower deck. A buildup of grass, leaves, and trash under the mower can also cause this, requiring you to clean the underside of the mower housing. Additionally, a bent blade mandrel (replace it) or clogged mower deck vent holes from buildup around mandrels (clean around mandrels to open vent holes) could be the cause.
