1) Loosen screw 1, and adjust the position of the thread take-up
spring guard so that the stopper rubber 2 does not come in
contact with the outer periphery of the thread tension disk 3.
™ If the thread take-up guide B is
installed with faced upward, the
thread will come in contact with
the edge of the machine arm.
This will adversely affect the
quality of the finished seam.
™ If the thread take-up is not fixed
taking the correct method,
timing of the thread take-up with
respect to the needle bar and
the feed mechanism will
change. This will change the
feeling of finished seam or
cause thread breakage.
1) Loosen the screw 1, and adjust the position of the thread
take-up thread guide B so that is installed with leveled.
1) Slightly tighten three setscrews 1. Then tighten three
setscrews 1 with the thread take-up pressed in the direction
of rotation.
