（1）針と釜の調整準備
1）送り調節ダイヤルを 0 に合わせます。
2）はずみ車を回して針棒を最下点にし、針棒抱き締めねじ

2 本をゆるめます。
（2）針棒の高さ
針棒最下点より 2.5mm 上昇した時、針穴上端より釜剣先

の距離は 2.0mm になるのが標準です。
（3）釜の位置決め
1）ねじ歯車（大）の止めねじ

4 本をゆるめ、はずみ車を回して、針棒の最下点から 2.5mm 上昇さ
せます。

(2) Height of the needle bar
The standard height of the needle bar is obtained by adjusting, when the needle bar ascends 2.5 mm from the lowest
point of its stroke, so that 2.0 mm is provided between the top end of the needle eyelet and blade point

of the hook.
(3) Positioning the hook
1) Loosen 4 setscrews

in the screw gear (large) and turn the handwheel to make the needle bar ascend by 2.5
mm from the lowest position of the needle bar.
2) In the state that blade point of hook

is almost aligned with the center of needle

, loosen 8 setscrews

throat plate support and 4 setscrews

in the right and left hook driving shaft saddles and move the hook driving
shaft saddles to the right or left to adjust so that a clearance of 0.05 to 0.1 mm is provided between blade point of
hook

and needle

. Then tighten setscrews

3) Move screw gear (large) to the right or left to adjust so that blade point of hook

is aligned with the center of

and tighten 4 setscrews

. However, adjust No. 1 screw of setscrews

to the fl at section of the hook
driving shaft and tighten it.
