18. Problems
Problem Cause Action
Grinder is very noisy – foreign body in grinder – Drawing off coffee with pre-ground powder
– is still possible
– Have machine examined by Jura service centre
Not enough froth when – milk not suitable – use full-cream milk
frothing milk – frothing aid blocked – clean frothing aid
– frothing aid in wrong position – draw off steam (see point 8)
When drawing off coffee, – grinding too fine – set the grinder to a coarser grind
the coffee only flows in drips – Coffee powder ground too finely – Use a more coarsely ground powder coffee
