3 Preparation at the touch of a button
ä T Press the selector switch.
MILK, the milk foam is being prepared. Preparation stops
automatically when the pre-set amount of milk is reached.
COFFEE READY is shown on the display.
To ensure that the frother works perfectly, you should rinse and
clean it regularly. The description for this can be found in Chapter 5
‘Maintenance – Cappuccino frother’.
Hot water can be prepared in two ways:
Z Hot water portion a
U The pre-set amount of water flows into the cup.
Z Hot water m
U Water flows out of the hot water spout until preparation is
interrupted by pressing any button.
The following temperatures can be selected for preparing hot
water:
Z Low
Z Normal
Z X high
There is a danger of scalding from hot water splashes.
T Avoid direct contact with the skin.
Example: This is how to prepare a portion of hot water.
Precondition:
COFFEE READY is displayed.
T Place a cup under the hot water spout.
ö T Use the selector switch to select the hot water portion
symbol a.
ä T Press the selector switch.
TEMPERATURE and the pre-set temperature are dis-
played.
E By pressing the selector switch several times (within approx.
2 seconds) you can set the temperature to your individual
preference. This setting is not saved.
HOT WATER, the pre-set amount of water flows into the
cup. Preparation stops automatically.
COFFEE READY
appears on the display.
