PROBLEMS
Cause Solution
• Incorrect speed • Check and reset
• Obstructed or leaking piping and/or filters • Check conditions and reset
• Undersized piping • Check maximum performance of pump
• Safety valves not calibrated • Check and calibrate
Cause Solution
• The centrifugal pump sucks solids Ø > 15 mm • Install suction filter.
• The centrifugal pump vibrates and is noisy
• Possible cavitation. Reduce the pipe length on the pump suction side, and clean the
suction filter. Avoid corners or narrow sections that can cause pressure drops.
• Whistle from mechanical seal • Possible damage due to dry running or excessive wear out.
• Leakage from the packing seal
• A small leakage is to be considered normal. If the leakage is more relevant, fasten
the screws of the setting fork. Replace the seal if the leakage carries on.
• Irregular transmission power • Check conditions. Avoid use of cardans with excessive angle.

• Recycling materials allow reducing the environmental impact and
respecting the environment.
Do not dispose of in the environment. Dispose of
in compliance with the standards in force.
• Before scrapping the machine, the following materials need to be
separated and suitably disposed of:
