PROBLEMS
Cause Solution
• Incorrect speed • Check and reset
• Obstructed or leaking piping and/or filters • Check conditions and reset
• Undersized piping • Check maximum performance of pump
• Safety valves not calibrated • Check and calibrate
Cause Solution
• The centrifugal pump sucks solids Ø > 15 mm • Install suction filter.
• The centrifugal pump vibrates and is noisy
• Possible cavitation. Reduce the pipe length on the pump suction side, and clean the
suction filter. Avoid corners or narrow sections that can cause pressure drops.
• Whistle from mechanical seal • Possible damage due to dry running or excessive wear out.
• Leakage from the packing seal
A small leakage is to be considered normal. If the leakage is more relevant, fasten
the screws of the setting fork. Replace the seal if the leakage carries on.
• Irregular transmission power • Check conditions. Avoid use of cardans with excessive angle.

Recycling materials allow reducing the environmental impact and
respecting the environment.
Do not dispose of in the environment. Dispose of
in compliance with the standards in force.
