Formatting the USB External Hard Disk Drive
All files on the external hard disk drive can be deleted.

All data on the external hard disk drive will be deleted when it is formatted.
Copy all files on the external hard disk drive to a computer before
formatting.

Select video or still image mode.

Tap “FORMAT”.

While the video mode is shown in the image, the same operations
apply for the still image mode.

Tap the A icon to switch between the video and still image modes.

Tap “YES”.

After formatting, tap “OK”.
Importing Files from the USB External Hard Disk Drive
You can copy video files from a USB external hard disk drive to the built-in
memory of this unit or an SD card.
*The following is a screen of the model with the built-in memory.

Select video mode.

Tap “IMPORT FROM DEVICE” in “BACK-UP”.

Files will be imported to the selected media.
