Update Version: BA_BongiovLDPS_
Update for Factory Profile Data:
JvcTestData_00001
Programming the KD-S 100 (CD Receiver) using the supplied CD-Rom
• Step-l
Be sure that the "KD-S 1 00 (CD Receiver)" is connected to power (car) and that the "KD-S100" is Powered OFF
Press and Hold the "BONGIOVI" I B 1 button, then at the same time Press the "DISP"\ DISP\ button and Release both
buttons at the same time.
This will power up the "KD-S100" and cause it to enter the Programming Mode
The display will display the last know the profile.
If this is a brand-new "KD-S100", it will display the factory profile "JvcTest Data_001"
Confirmation of version that has already been downloaded
from the Factory [JvcTestData_0001] into the "KD-S100"

Step-2
Press the "EJECT" I ~ 7 button so that the faceplate will slide out, open and allow you to insert the supplied
"Universal Tuning Profile Disc" Update Version: BA_Bongiovi_DPS_
Once
the CD is loaded into the CD reader, the faceplate will retract and display Now ••• Downloading Mode
Approximately 50 seconds wait

Download completed successfully
Confirmation of Version: BA_Bongiovi_DPS_
Confirmation of downloaded version
In Case of Download failure

Step-4
Once the download is complete, the faceplate will open automatically
and the CD will eject.
Remove
the CD and Press the "EJECT" I ~ 7 button to retract the faceplate.
Confirmation of downloaded version will display
Power
OFF the "KD-S100" then Power ON to begin using the unit.
Congratulations you have completed the Software Update.
