  If you can't hear sound from the speakers of your JVC Car Receiver, there are a few potential causes. First, the volume might be set too low; try adjusting it to a higher, more suitable level. Second, the connections could be incorrect, so it's worth checking all the cords and connections to ensure they are properly linked. Finally, the built-in microcomputer may have malfunctioned due to noise or other interference. In this case, reset the unit by holding the SEL (select) button and pressing it for more than 2 seconds. Keep in mind that resetting the unit will erase the clock setting and any preset stations stored in memory.
