  If you can't hear any sound from the speakers of your JVC Car Receiver, here are a few things to check: * Ensure that the volume isn't set too low; adjust it to a suitable level. * Verify that all connections are correctly and firmly in place. Check the cords. * If noise affected the built-in microcomputer, detach the control panel and press the reset button on the panel holder. Note that this will erase the clock setting and preset stations stored in memory.

  If your JVC Car Receiver isn't playing CDs, CD-Rs, or CD-RWs, or if the CD won't eject, consider the following: * Make sure the CD is inserted correctly, with the label side up. * If using a CD-R/CD-RW, finalize it using the device you recorded it on, and then insert it. * Ensure that the CD is not locked. * If driving on a rough road, stop playback. * Check the CD for scratches and replace if necessary. * Check the cords and connections. * Make sure that the CD is in the loading slot.
