The disc type is automatically detected, and
playback starts automatically (for DVD:
automatic start depends on its internal program).
• This unit can play back either audio (MP3/
WMA/WAV), picture (JPEG), or movie
(MPEG-1/MPEG-2/DivX) files if a disc
includes any of the files. Set the playback
file type on DVD setup menu (see page 28)
before playing back a disc containing files of
different kinds.
If the current disc is not a DVD and VCD with
PBC, all tracks will be played repeatedly until
you change the source or eject the disc.

on page 23.

• Disc operations are explained mainly
using the buttons on the remote controller;
however, the buttons on the unit can work in
the same way if they have the same names or
marks.
Starting playback
1 Open the liquid crystal panel.
• You can play a disc even if the monitor is
closed.
2 Turn on the power.
• Do not insert a disc while
the power is turned off.

3 Insert a disc into the loading slot.
• For some discs, playback does not start
automatically.
