To tune in to channels
1 Select “ALL SRCH.”
The ALL indicator lights up.
2 Select the channel.
Category Search
You can select the channel category and tune in to only the
channels included in the selected category.
1 Select “CAT SRCH.”
2 Select the channel category.
The channel with the smallest channel number in the
category is displayed.
3 Select the channel.
The selected channel is tuned in after a few seconds.
Direct Channel Access
You can tune in to the desired channel directly by entering
the channel number.
1 Press DIRECT.
2 Press the numeric keys to enter the desired channel
number while the channel number position is
flashing.

on page 9.
Using preset tuning
You can preset up to 30 channels.
To store the preset channels
1 Tune in to the channel you want to preset.
2 Activate the preset number entry mode.
• Finish the following process while the indication on the
display is flashing.
3 Select a preset number for the channel you store. See
“How to Select Numbers” on page 9.
• You can also use 4/¢ on the main unit.
4 Store the channel.
5 Repeat steps 1 to 4 until you store all the desired
channels.
