Setting the current time
(when the RC-Q50 is used first time)
(Example: to set the clock to 13:15.)

Connect the AC power cord; "0:00" will blink in the
display.
Press the CLOCK button while pressing the SHIFT
button; the hour's digits will blink.
Set to 13:00 by pressing the UP/DOWN buttons while
pressing the SHIFT button. (When the buttons are kept
pressed, the time indication changes continuously.)
Press the ENTER button while pressing the SHIFT
button; the minute's digits will blink.
Set to 13:15 by pressing the UP/DOWN buttons.
Press the ENTER button while pressing the SHIFT
button; the time will light in the display.

® To set to the nearest second...
Press the ENTER button while pressing the SHIFT
button when you hear the time signal from a TV or radio.
Notes:
® Before performing timer recording or playback, it is
necessary to set the current time.
e When power is supplied from the AC power cord, the
clock and timer start time can be set whether the
POWER bution is set to on or off.
@ When power is supplied from batteries, set the clock
and timer start time with the POWER button set to on.

@ Enchufe el cable de alimentacion:; destellara "0:00"
en el display.
@ Presione el botén CLOCK mientras oprime el boton
SHIFT; destellaran los digitos de !a hora.
@® Fije 13:00 presionando los botones UP/DOWN
mientras oprime el botén SHIFT. (Si se mantiene
presionados los botones, la indicacioén de tiempo
cambia continuamenie).
@® Presione el botén ENTER mientras oprime el boton
SHIFT: destellaran los digitos de los minutos.
@) Fije 13:15 presionando los botones UP/DOWN.
© Presione el botén ENTER mientras oprime e! boton
SHIFT; se encendera la hora en ei display.
® Para fijar exactamente los segundos...
Presione el boton ENTER, mientras oprime el boton
SHIFT, al escuchar la sefal horaria de la television o
la radio.
Notas:
@ Antes de realizar una grabacién o reproduccién con
temporizador, es necesario ajustar la hora actual.
® Cuando la energia proviene de un cable de CA, el
inicio de contaje de tiempo del reloj y del
temporizador puede ser programado
independientemente de que el boton POWER esté
encendido o apagado.
@ Cuando la alimentacioén proviene de las pilas, ajuste
el la hora del reloj y de activacién del temporizador
mientras el boton POWER esta en ON (encendido).

@® Collegare il cavo di alimentazione CA; I'indicazione
"0:00" lampeggera sul display.
@) Premere il tasto CLOCK mentre si preme il tasto
SHIFT, la cifra delle ore lampeggia.
@ Impostare 13:00 premendo i tasti UP/DOWN mentre
si preme il tasto SHIFT. (Quando i tasti vengono
mantenuti premuti, l'indicazione dell'orario cambia
continuamente).
@® Premere il tasto ENTER mentre si preme i! tasto
SHIFT; la cifra dei minuti lampeggia.
@) Impostare 13:15 premendo i tasti UP/DOWN.
® Premere il tasto ENTER mentre si preme il tasto
SHIFT; lorario rimane visualizzato sul display.
e Per impostare i secondi...
Premere il tasto ENTER menire si preme il tasto
SHIFT in corrispondenza del segnale orario della
televisione o della radio.
Note:
e Prima di eseguire la registrazione o la riproduzione col
timer é necessario impostare l'ora esatta.
® Quando I'alimentazione viene fornita per mezzo del
cavo di alimentazione CA, I'orologio e I'orario di avvio
del timer possono essere impostati col tasto POWER
sia su ON che su OFF.
® Quando I'alimentazione viene fornita per mezzo delle
batterie, impostare l'orologio e I'orario di avvio del timer
con il tasto POWER impostato su ON. 36
