If your JVC CD Player can't read the table of contents, resulting in no display or sound, consider these possibilities: * Ensure the disc is inserted correctly (not upside down). * Clean the disc with a soft cloth if it's dirty. * Try a new disc if the current one is scratched or warped. * Make sure you're using a standard, brand-name disc. * If moisture has formed inside the CD deck, wait 20-30 minutes before trying again. * Also, verify that the CD player supports the format of your disc. If you are using MP3 format, make sure that this format is supported on this unit.
