5. Removal of Main Parts
Wi Power Supply Unit
@ Cover of Power Supply Unit (See Fig. 5- 1)
1. Remove the four screws (1) retaining the cover of the
RC — XC3BK B/E/EN/G/GI
power supply unit behind the set.
2. Remove the cover from the upper side. Meanwhile, the
cover should be assembled from the bottom side.
* It is possible to change the fuse.
@ Power Supply P.C. Board Assembly and Power
Supply Trans. (See Fig. 5- 2)
1. Remove the one screw (2) retaining the power supply
P.C. board assembly.
2. Disconnect the connector CN901 from the main amp.
P.C. board.
3. Pull out the power supply P.C. board assembly.
4. Remove the four screws (3) retaining the power supply
transformer, and pull out the transformer together with
the shield case.
@ Rear Cabinet
@ Front Cabinet Assembly (See Fig. 5- 1)
1. Remove the nine screws (4) retaining the rear and front
cabinets, and the two screws (5) retaining the grip.
2. Remove the front cabinet by pulling it to the front side
(The speaker connector will be disconnected).
@ Tuner P.C. Board Assembly (See Fig. 5- 3)
1. Remove the one screw (5) retaining holder of the tuner
P.C. board assembly.
2. Disconnect the connector CN304 of the main amp. P.C.
board assembly.
3. Pull out the tuner P.C. assembly and remove the
antenna TP1.
@ Amp. P.C. Board Assembly/Cassette
Mechanism Unit (See Figs. 5- 2~5-5)
1. Disconnect the power supply connector CN901 on the
rear side of the main amp. P.C. board assembly.
2. Disconnect the tuner wire connector CN304 on the right
side of the amp. P.C. board.
3. From the CD unit, disconnect the connector wire CN703
to the main amp. P.C. board assembly.
4. From the CD unit, disconnect the card wires CN701,
CN702 and CN303 to the main amp. P.C. board
assembly.
5. Pull out the amp. P.C. board assembly/cassette
mechanism unit.
