% In case the CD changer/cassette mechanism
unitare removed at the same time (See Fig. 5-6)
. Disconnect the power supply connector CN901.
2. Disconnect the tuner card wire CN304.
3. After inserting a screw driver, etc. from the window on
the rear side of the cabinet, remove the pawl inside the
cabinet while slightly pressing the driver in the arrow
direction, and pull out the cassette mechanism unit.

CD Changer Unit (See Fig. 5-7)
1. Remove the main amp./cassette mechanism unit.
2. Remove the pawl on the inner left side of the CD
changer chassis.
3. Then, the CD changer unit will be removed (disassem-
bled).

@ Main P.C. Board Assembly
(See Figs. 5-8 and 5-9)
1. From the main P.C. board assembly, disconnect the
card wires CN305 and CN704.
2.Remove the remote controller/function P.C. board
assembly on the front side.
3. After turning over the unit, remove the four screws (6)
retaining the main amp. P.C. board assembly.
4. Disconnect the connector CN306 for connecting with the
Junction P.C. board assembly, and remove the pawl
while sliding the P.C. board assembly in the arrow
direction.
@ Preamp. P.C. Board Assembly (See Fig. 5- 10)
1. Remove the two screws (7) retaining the preamp. P.C.
board.
2. After raising the preamp. P.C. board assembly,
disconnect the head flexible wires CN311 and CN312.
@ Cassette Mechanism Assembly (See Fig. 5-10)
1. Remove the seven screws (8) retaining the cassette
mechanism assembly.
2. After opening the cassette door, remove the cassette
mechanism assembly.
