FDU G4 PIN OUT FOR DIRECT SERIAL PMS INTERFACE
FDU Generation 4
FDU G4 has single serial port. Note this port is DTE (FDU G3 is DCE). A null-modem
cable will be required to connect the FDU G4 to the PMS interface.
• DB9 male DTE

• 9600 or 19200 BAUD
• Asynchronous
• 1 start bit
• 8 data bits
• 1 stop bit
• No parity
• No flow control
Required signals are:
• Pin 2 RXD
• Pin 3 TXD
• Pin 5 GND
• Pin 7 RTS driven high signal by FDU when in PMS mode is activated.
• Pin 4 DTR driven high signal by FDU when in PMS mode is activated.

A null-modem DB9F-DB9F cable is required to connect the FDU G4 to an IBM PC compatible serial port.
