When JP2 is OFF and JP3 is ON, a hard reset of the Kantech IP Access Controller will occur, which means that all of the controller's memory is set to default values, the internal event buffer is cleared, and the IP address is kept if valid. The controller generates the message 'Controller Hard Reset,' and the internal RTC (Real Time Clock) and clock are set to the default time and date values of January 1st 2005, 00:00:00, Saturday.
