Why does my Kärcher Water Pump stop and start again?
    • J
      James SchultzJul 29, 2025
The thermal protection fuse may have switched off the Kärcher Water Pump to prevent overheating, and then switched it back on after the pump cooled down. To prevent this from happening again, check the system for leaks and seal them.

What to do if my Kärcher Water Pump is running but not delivering water?
    • C
      Cody CameronAug 3, 2025
If your Kärcher Water Pump is running but not delivering water, it could be due to several reasons: * There might be air in the pump. Refer to chapter Preparation for instructions. * The air cannot escape on the pressure side, open the tapping point on the pressure side. * There may be no water available, check the water reservoir.

Why won't my Kärcher Water Pump start or why does it stop during operation?
    • D
      Danielle BakerAug 8, 2025
If your Kärcher Water Pump doesn't start or stops suddenly, the power supply might be disconnected, so check the fuses and electrical connections. Alternatively, the thermal protection switch in the motor may have switched off the pump because the motor overheated. If this is the case: 1. Pull out the mains plug. 2. Allow the pump to cool down. 3. Clean the suction area. 4. Prevent dry running. Note that the cooling time until the motor restarts can be up to 150 minutes.

Why does my Kärcher Water Pump restart immediately after switching off?
    • J
      jacqueline64Aug 13, 2025
If your Kärcher Water Pump restarts immediately after being switched off, it could be due to several reasons: * Pressure in the system is being lost. Check the connections, including seals, for water leakage, as even the slightest leak can affect operation. * The air pressure in the storage tank is too low. Fill the storage tank with 2.0 bar (see chapter Care and maintenance). * The return valve is not closing properly. Check the check valve on the suction side. * The membrane in the pressure tank is defective. Have the membrane replaced.

Why is the Kärcher Water Pump capacity dropping or too low?
    • M
      Michael JohnsonAug 17, 2025
If the Kärcher Water Pump capacity is dropping or is too low: * The suction filter or the check valve (special accessory) might be contaminated. Clean the suction filter or the check valve (special accessory). * The delivery rate of the pump depends on the delivery head and the connected periphery. Observe the max. delivery head (see chapter Specifications). Select a different hose diameter or a different hose length if necessary.

How to fix vibrating noise during water removal with Kärcher Water Pump?
    • P
      Philip NicholsAug 23, 2025
The membrane in the pressure tank might be vibrating. This operating noise can be eliminated by reducing the pressure of the air filling in the storage tank.
