- If it is necessary to use electrical extensions, make sure that the cables have the
appropriate gauge: for cables from 1 to 10 meters in length, 1.5 mm² gauge; for
cables from 10 to 30 meters, gauge 2.5 mm².- The plugs and couplings of the
electrical extension used must be waterproof.
- Regularly check the power cord for cracks or signs of aging. If any damage is
detected, it is necessary to replace the cable before using the device again.
- When replacing couplings on extension cords, water protection and mechanical
stability must not be compromised.
- If the equipment's operating instructions (technical data) indicate a sound
pressure level higher than 85 dB(A), it is essential to use hearing protection
equipment.
- Vehicle tires/tire valves can be washed at a spray distance of at least 30 cm.
Otherwise, the tires and valve may be damaged by the high pressure jet. The first
sign of damage is a change in tire color. Damaged vehicle tires are extremely
dangerous.
- Materials containing asbestos or those containing substances harmful to health
cannot be washed.
ATTENTION: Only detergents approved by the manufacturer can be used. This
appliance was developed to use detergents supplied by Kärcher. The use of other
detergents or chemical agents may affect the safety of the appliance.
WARNING: Depending on the application, shielded nozzles may be used for high
pressure cleaning, which will dramatically reduce the emission of hydrated
aerosols. However, not all applications allow the use of such a device. If the
shielded mouthpiece is not applicable for aerosol protection, a respirator mask of
FFP class 2 or equivalent may be necessary, depending on the cleaning
environment.
