Inconsistent pressure could be due to several reasons. First, ensure you have enough inlet water supply by turning the water on full force and checking the garden hose for any kinks, leaks, or blockages. Second, the pump might be sucking air; check that all hoses and fittings are airtight, then turn off the machine and purge the pump by squeezing the trigger gun until a steady flow of water emerges through the nozzle. Also, the water inlet filter might be clogged, so remove it and rinse it in warm water. Another possibility is an obstructed discharge nozzle; blow out or remove any debris with a fine needle. Finally, the gun, hose, or power nozzle could be calcified; run distilled vinegar through the detergent tank.
