Why Kärcher K 2 Plus unit does not reach high-pressure?
    • T
      tanyaarmstrongAug 15, 2025
If your Kärcher Pressure Washer isn't reaching high pressure, the diameter of your garden hose might be too small; replace it with a 16 mm (5/8 inch) or larger hose. Also, the water supply could be restricted; check the garden hose for kinks, leaks, and blockages. Ensure there's enough inlet water supply by opening the water source fully. The water inlet filter might be clogged; remove it and rinse it in warm water. Finally, the spray wand may be in the low-pressure position; turn it to the high-pressure position.

Why does the output pressure of my Kärcher Pressure Washer vary?
    • A
      Aaron ChambersAug 18, 2025
If the output pressure of your Kärcher Pressure Washer varies, ensure there is enough inlet water supply by turning the water on full force and checking the garden hose for kinks, leaks, or blockages. The pump may be sucking air; check that hoses and fittings are airtight, then turn off the machine and purge the pump by squeezing the trigger gun until a steady flow of water emerges through the nozzle. Also, the water inlet filter might be clogged; remove it and rinse it in warm water. The discharge nozzle could be obstructed; blow out or remove debris with a fine needle. Finally, the gun, hose, or spray wand may be calcified; run distilled vinegar through the detergent suction tube.

Why won't my Kärcher K 2 Plus Pressure Washer motor start?
    • T
      Tyler WilsonAug 21, 2025
Your Kärcher Pressure Washer motor might not start because the On/Off switch is in the “OFF” (0) position. Turn the switch to the “ON” (I) position. Also, check if the power cord is plugged in and that the electrical outlet supplies adequate power. Try a different outlet. Furthermore, the GFCI plug may have tripped; press the “RESET” button. Finally, a tripped circuit breaker could be the cause; switch off the pressure washer, and the reset will occur automatically once the unit's temperature drops.

What to do if my Kärcher K 2 Plus Pressure Washer has no detergent?
    • K
      Kimberly SalazarAug 26, 2025
If your Kärcher Pressure Washer isn't dispensing detergent, first check that the detergent siphon tube is properly connected to the machine. If the detergent is too thick, dilute it, or use Kärcher detergent for best results. Also, the filter on the detergent siphon tube may be clogged; run warm water through it to remove debris. A damaged or clogged detergent siphon tube may also be the reason; remove any obstruction or replace the tube. Ensure the spray wand is in the low-pressure position. Finally, the discharge nozzle may be obstructed; blow out or remove debris with a fine needle.

If the spray wand on your Kärcher Pressure Washer leaks, make sure it is properly attached.
