Modular prefilter effective in still/running water, prevents large particles from entering the system.
Conveniently attaches directly to different sized water containers for easy filling.
Includes a connector allowing output hose attachment to hydration bladders for easy filling.
Connect input/output hoses, prefilter, and bottle adapter or hydration connector as instructed.
Flush system with ~1 liter of water to remove harmless carbon dust before first use.
Place input hose in water, adjust float to keep prefilter off sediment for optimal filtering.
Connect EasyFill adaptor to container or hydration connector to bladder for filtered water.
Pump handle slowly and steadily at approx. 48 strokes/minute for 1 liter of water.
Remove adaptor/connector, pump to empty body, store hoses separately to prevent cross-contamination.
Lubricate pump handle o-ring with silicone, clean excess build-up, or consider cartridge replacement.
Check prefilter submersion, hose kinks, or clean the check valve to restore water output.
Rinse prefilter in water, or clean thoroughly with a brush; apply lubricant for reassembly.
Disinfect filter with Micropur Forte/MP1 solution before storage to prevent microbial growth.
Pump the entire disinfectant solution through the unit and then pump 5-10 strokes to remove remaining water.
Remove and dry the cartridge, wrap hoses, and store the unit in its carry bag.
Remove output hose, then twist cartridge counter-clockwise; use handle shaft if needed.
Rinse inside of housing with water, discard water, and wipe dry with a soft cloth.
Insert new cartridge, tighten clockwise, apply lubricant to o-ring for future removal.
Flush the new cartridge by pumping and discarding the first liter of water.
Clean Filter Protector with damp sponge/fabric and water. Swish cartridge in water for cleaning.
Wrap protector screen around cartridge, slip netting over, and adjust evenly for protection.
Connect black hydration connector insert to input hose and connect hose to pump housing's quick release body.
Configure output hose for easy removal/storage by cutting and connecting quick connect fittings.
Connect filtered water directly to hydration packs by cutting drink hose and using quick connect fittings.
Consult physician 4-6 weeks before travel to minimize risk of contracting illnesses from water/food.
Ensure food is cooked, clean hands, select intact foods, and filter all drinking water.
